Fees and pricing

When processing card transactions, you can flexibly define some fees that can apply to your customer's transactions. The availability of these options is determined by use case and market regulations.

To identify if these options apply to you and to enable them, speak to your account and implementation managers.

ATM flexible pricing

This feature enables you to move away from a one-size-fits-all ATM fee model to customisable pricing for your card program.

Pricing is applied at the BIN/Program level and follows an amount-based threshold logic:

  • Free threshold: A monthly limit where withdrawals are free for the customer.
  • Flat fee: A fixed fee per withdrawal once the threshold is exceeded.
  • Variable fee: A percentage-based fee on the withdrawal amount.

The withdrawal will only be approved if the customer account has sufficient funds to cover the withdrawal amount + the calculated partner fee. This ensures that you never incur a loss on an individual transaction.

You can predefine the configurations for these ATM fees by notifying your account managers. As Wise incurs costs for enabling ATM transactions for cardholders, these costs will be charged to you.

Wise calculates invoicing periodically based on your contract (total partner revenue - total Wise costs). If your revenue is higher than Wise costs then we reimburse you or if Wise costs are higher than your revenue, we will invoice you for the excess amount.
