Creating a transfer with a contact
- Create a Quote, passing
contactIdinstead oftargetAccountin the request body. - Extract the
targetAccountvalue from the Quote response — Wise resolves the contact into a recipient account. - Create a Transfer using the
targetAccountfrom the Quote response.
Finds an existing discoverable Wise profile and adds it to your recipient list. The recipient is found by an identifier — such as a Wisetag, email, or phone number — without needing bank details. Use the contactId from the response to create a transfer.
